Print Reinforced Parts with Exceptional Strength

The Markforged Mark Two prints in the nylon material Onyx while reinforcing with continuous fibers of carbon, fiberglass or Kevlar for exceptional strength. The reinforcements made with carbon fiber provide a printed part that is comparable to aluminum in strength, and a stiffness that makes it suitable for replacing production equipment or even end-use parts.

Reinforced plastic is very dimensionally stable, which means less warping and similar defects when printing. The Onyx material further enhances this through its microscopic carbon fibers for superior strength, surface quality and dimensional stability.
